Question 1

What devices does BKK Apple buy?

Accepted Answer

We buy every type of Apple device: iPhone (iPhone 7 and newer), all iPad models, MacBook (Air/Pro), iMac, Mac mini, Apple Watch, AirPods and other Apple accessories. Prices follow the real market and update daily.

Question 2

How does selling to BKK Apple work?

Accepted Answer

1) Go to bkkapple.com and pick the model you want to sell. 2) Describe its condition honestly to get your quote. 3) Choose how to hand it over: doorstep pickup by our rider, a visit to our branch, or mail-in. 4) Our team inspects the device and transfers your money right away.

Question 3

Is the website quote the final price?

Accepted Answer

The website shows your estimated maximum price. The final price depends on the actual inspection — if the condition matches what you selected, you get the quoted price. Additional flaws may reduce it slightly.

Question 4

Do you buy devices with cracked screens or faults?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We buy devices in every condition — cracked screens, worn batteries, broken speakers, faulty Face ID, or devices that freeze. Get an initial quote on the website by selecting the actual condition; the price adjusts to the damage.

Question 5

What do I need to prepare before selling?

Accepted Answer

For a standard sale, no documents are needed. Just: 1) Sign out of Apple ID / iCloud. 2) Turn off Find My iPhone. 3) The box and receipt can add a little extra value if you have them. Corporate sales may require additional documents.

Question 6

Do I need to erase my data before selling?

Accepted Answer

Not necessary — our team performs a factory reset for you after the inspection. We do recommend backing up important data (photos, messages, documents) and signing out of iCloud beforehand to speed things up.

Question 7

Do you buy devices still on an installment plan?

Accepted Answer

Sorry, we do not buy devices that are still being paid off, MDM-locked, or iCloud/Activation-locked, due to usage and ownership restrictions. Once fully paid off or unlocked, you are welcome to get a quote.

Question 8

Do you buy iCloud- or Activation-locked devices?

Accepted Answer

No. We never buy devices that are iCloud/Activation-locked or that cannot be signed out of Apple ID — under any circumstances (no discounted buyout, no unlocking service). Please unlock and sign out of iCloud first, then get your quote.

Question 9

Do I need the box, accessories, or a receipt?

Accepted Answer

Not required — we buy the device on its own. That said, a complete box, accessories (cable, earphones) or a receipt/warranty card can add a little extra value.

Question 10

Do you offer doorstep pickup?

Accepted Answer

Yes! For customers in Bangkok and the metro area, our rider picks up at your door at no extra cost. Customers elsewhere can use our mail-in service — shipping is on us.

Question 11

How is the device inspected?

Accepted Answer

Our team checks both the outside and inside: screen condition (scratches, cracks), body (dents, finish), functions (Face ID, Touch ID, speakers, camera, battery), iCloud lock status, and battery health. It takes just 5-10 minutes.

Question 12

Can I cancel my sale?

Accepted Answer

Yes — you can cancel anytime before you confirm payment. If you have not handed over the device yet, you can cancel instantly through the website.

Question 13

Can I cancel after sending in my device?

Accepted Answer

If the device has arrived but you have not confirmed payment, you can still cancel — contact our team via LINE or phone and we will ship the device back free of charge (within 7 days of your request).

Question 14

What if I want to cancel after being paid?

Accepted Answer

Once you confirm and the money has been transferred, the sale is complete and cannot be cancelled. Please review the price and terms carefully before confirming.

Question 15

Does cancelling cost anything?

Accepted Answer

No — cancelling is completely free. If you cancel before sending the device there is nothing to pay, and if the device is already with us, BKK Apple covers the full cost of return shipping.

Question 16

Can I cancel if the inspected price is lower than my quote?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If the price after inspection is lower than your quote, you have the right to decline the new price and cancel immediately at no cost — we will send your device back.

Question 17

How do I cancel a sell order?

Accepted Answer

1) Sign in at bkkapple.com. 2) Go to "My orders". 3) Tap "Cancel order". 4) Select your reason. 5) The cancellation is confirmed instantly. Need more help? Contact our team on LINE.

Question 18

How soon do I get my device back after cancelling?

Accepted Answer

If the device is already with us, we ship it back within 1-3 business days of your cancellation via Kerry or Flash Express, with a tracking number so you can follow it.

Question 19

Can I cancel a scheduled rider pickup?

Accepted Answer

Yes — cancel at least 1 hour before the appointment through the website or via LINE. If the rider has already departed, a small travel fee may apply.

Question 20

Does cancelling affect my coupons?

Accepted Answer

If you used a discount coupon or promotion on the order, it is returned to you automatically when the order is cancelled, and you can use it on your next sale as long as it has not expired.

Question 21

Will my returned device be okay?

Accepted Answer

Your device is returned in exactly the condition we received it. We never open or modify a device before the sale is complete. If anything is wrong after you receive it back, contact our team right away.

Question 22

Does BKK Apple charge any service fees?

Accepted Answer

No fees at all. The price you are quoted is the net amount you receive — no hidden charges, no inspection fee, no processing fee.

Question 23

Is there a shipping fee?

Accepted Answer

Doorstep rider pickup (Bangkok & metro area) is free. For mail-in customers elsewhere, we cover shipping and send you a prepaid mailer with a shipping label via Kerry or Flash Express.

Question 24

How do you pay?

Accepted Answer

We transfer directly to your bank account — every bank is supported (KBank, Bangkok Bank, SCB, Krungthai, GSB, Krungsri and more). You can also receive cash at our branch, and PromptPay is supported too.

Question 25

How long until I receive the money?

Accepted Answer

At the branch: paid within 15 minutes. Rider pickup: transferred within 5 minutes after inspection. Mail-in: transferred the day we receive your device. Bank processing hours may add a small delay.

Question 26

How do I use a discount coupon or promotion?

Accepted Answer

Enter your coupon code at the order confirmation step. The discount is applied as a higher buyback price — for example, a "+200 THB" coupon adds 200 THB to your quote. Follow LINE Official and the website for new coupons.

Question 27

What if the transfer fails?

Accepted Answer

If the money does not arrive within the expected time, first check that your account number is correct. If it is, contact our team on LINE Official (@bkkapple) and we will investigate and re-transfer within 24 hours.

Question 28

Can I get a payment receipt?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the transfer slip is sent to you automatically by email and LINE. If you need a formal receipt, let our team know and we will issue one within 3 business days.

Question 29

How often do buyback prices update?

Accepted Answer

Website prices update daily, based on real market prices both in Thailand and abroad. Prices can move with the market — especially around new Apple launches.

Question 30

Any bonus for selling multiple devices?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Sell 2 or more devices in one order and you get a bonus. For organizations selling in volume, contact our Corporate team via the /corporate page for special pricing.

Question 31

Do exchange rates affect buyback prices?

Accepted Answer

Somewhat — second-hand phone prices are linked to international markets, so a stronger baht can nudge prices down slightly and vice versa. In practice the changes are usually small.

Question 32

What personal data does BKK Apple collect?

Accepted Answer

Only what the transaction requires: your name, phone number, email, pickup address, bank account number, and details of the device you sell (model, IMEI) — in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Question 33

How is my personal data used?

Accepted Answer

Your data is used to: 1) process the purchase and payment, 2) communicate about your order, 3) issue receipts and accounting documents, 4) improve our service (with your consent). We never sell or disclose your data to third parties without permission.

Question 34

Can I request deletion of my personal data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Under PDPA you have the right to request deletion — contact our DPO at dpo@bkkapple.com and we will process it within 30 days. Some data required by law (such as accounting records) may need to be retained.

Question 35

What happens to the data on the device I sell?

Accepted Answer

After purchase, our team performs a factory reset that erases all data on the device permanently and unrecoverably. We recommend backing up important data and signing out of Apple ID before handing it over.

Question 36

How does BKK Apple handle consent?

Accepted Answer

Before collecting personal data we ask for your explicit consent on the website. You can grant or decline consent for each purpose separately — for example marketing updates — without affecting the core service.

Question 37

Can I withdraw my consent?

Accepted Answer

Yes, at any time — through your account settings on the website or by emailing dpo@bkkapple.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect transactions made before the withdrawal.

Question 38

Who is the DPO and how do I reach them?

Accepted Answer

BKK Apple has a Data Protection Officer (DPO) as required by law. Reach them at dpo@bkkapple.com or by post to the BKK Apple head office. The DPO team replies within 7 business days.

Question 39

How long is my personal data kept?

Accepted Answer

Transaction data is kept for the period required by law (accounting data: 5 years), after which it is deleted or anonymized. Marketing data is kept until you withdraw consent.

Question 40

Is my data sent abroad?

Accepted Answer

We do not transfer personal data abroad. All data is stored on servers in Thailand, except for internationally certified cloud services with data centers in the Asia region.

Question 41

What are my rights under PDPA?

Accepted Answer

You have the right to: 1) access your data, 2) correct it, 3) delete it, 4) restrict its use, 5) object to processing, 6) data portability, 7) withdraw consent. Exercise any of these via dpo@bkkapple.com.

Question 42

Do I need an account to use the service?

Accepted Answer

You can get a quote without signing up. To place a sell order you will need an account, so we can keep your order history and send status updates. Signing up takes seconds with your phone number or LINE.

How can I contact BKK Apple?

Accepted Answer

Accepted Answer

Tap "Forgot password" on the sign-in page, enter your registered phone number or email, and we will send an OTP or a reset link. Still stuck? Message our team on LINE Official.

Question 49

What languages does the website support?

Accepted Answer

The website supports Thai and English — switch anytime with the language toggle in the menu. Our support team can also assist you in English via LINE Official or email.
